While in Intro to Psychology we never had any extensive writing project, there was a lot of writing done within the course. Every day in class we took notes for the large majority of the lecture. My notebook is filled with pages of written notes. I don’t think I have ever taken so many notes for one single class before this. Besides the large amount of in class notes I took there were many in class writing activites. The in class writing activity that I have included was unit about learning. We spent a lot of time on this unit. In the unit we learned about operant conditioning and classical conditioning and how they differ. I thought this was one of the most interesting units because it focused on how animals are able to learn things, as well as how children learn to behave and function in society. It showed me how much viewing the world impacts how the child learn to behave. The unit was also about how different forms of behavior reinforcement can influence children and how that can affect who they become.

The work sample I included was a take home writing assignment that’s questions were focused on the ideas from the learning unit. There were many other homework that I could have used instead, but since this one of my favorite and most memorable units I decided to use this assignment.
